Krabi was interesting. We stayed in a party hostel and we weren’t really sure what to expect. It was clean and casual but at night they had pub crawls and beer pong tournaments which was fun and strange. One day they had an island tour and it was extremely different from the El Nido one. The beaches were nice, but since it was low tide we couldn’t do as much at each stop. On one stop we saw the “Penis Caves” which are an urban legend about a princess and her marrying someone not of royal blood and an evil dragon and somehow it boiled down to bringing penis relics as offerings to her in order to have good luck. We couldn’t cliff jump, but we went on a trust walk through a pitch-dark tunnel. We also had an egg toss and Guy and I got second and he is convinced I could’ve caught the last toss but I am certain I couldn’t have, haha. On one of the islands it was such a low tide we were crawling on our hands because there were so many rocks. It was hilarious. The crazy part was when we got caught in a storm on the way back to the main island. It was terrifying because our boat was made of strictly wood and the waves were massive in comparison. We made it alive though and we are better now. We saw a water tornado, which I’d never seen. We also ate some kabobs that were so good but they weren’t skewers they were similar to a pita pocket but crunchier and with kabob fillings. It was a nice end to our stay with some more sun rays. 🙂
