Sucre, Bolivia

Yes, I’m back already with another post. We were not in Sucre for long (will remedy this next time I visit this wonderful country) so this post will be short and sweet.

Last night/yesterday were super chill. We got to the B&B and then Mer was out like a light slumbering. She slept from 09:00 – 14:00. Unfazed, I finished my book, and subsequently, the entire series. Kind of a bittersweet moment. For dinner, we went to Joyride, Not bad for a place with food from six different countries. Then we came back and slept. I think I am catching a cold, but only time will tell.

Today, we got breakfast at the B&B, which was bread and jam. Kind of a let down for a B&B. Then I rested while Mer went out for her morning coffee walk. We then reconnected for lunch but the two places we wanted to try were both closed. One for remodeling and one was nowhere to be found. We ended up getting the menu del día at a random place for 20 bob. Pumpkin soup and lomo pimiento and an unblended apple sauce dessert. We got some cash out for the Uyuni tour and then just clowned around until dinner and the night bus. My goal for the evening was to figure out how to pack. I somehow crammed all my stuff into my tiny backpack and will leave the large pack in the tour office storage.

The next post will be a doozy so please wish me luck!
