Mama Mia!

This was a busy week for me. Work every day has been hectic. The Summit is in 2 weeks!!! We have speakers (finally), but we can’t really decide where we want everyone to speak. Meaning do we want them for a panel,  just a quick “blatant self promotion,” or a debate. I am excited! I know I mentioned a little bit about the Summit, but I will expand. The Summit is two days. We have Universities coming from across Spain, and some from England, Portugal, Stockholm, and more. They are coming with the hope that we can create a better awareness and more connected environment of entrepreneurship in Europe. It starts Thursday, the 22nd, and ends Friday, the next day on the 23rd. Along with being able to sit in on the panels and such, I get to go to Segovia and El Escorial, stay in a nice hotel, get some fancy free meals, and tour the cities.

On Monday we started another round of presentations, and my group went first! I think it was a good and bad thing, haha. This round was longer, but more of a realistic business presentation. We all presented on different Spanish based businesses. My group presented on MANGO.

Wednesday night a group of us went to a dancing class. We learned how to bachata and salsa, and another one I didn’t catch the name of.  One of our professors is leaving so he planned this little activity for us. It was so much fun, but it was hard because they went super fast since they assumed most people already had a basic understanding of the dances. I learned that as long as my partner was really confident and skilled, I in turn looked the part as well. However, a few men had no rhythm nor skill and it was terrible because they’d get mad if you didn’t let them lead…but they didn’t know how, hah!

Thursday was a normal day at work, and then we went to an Italian movie, that was dubbed in Spanish. I was a very odd movie, not good, kinda funny because it was dumb. The good news about it was I could understand the Spanish.

Here are some pictures and videos from this week!
